MSOC IN GERMANY

1 June, 2011 5:00 pm to 7 June, 2011 5:00 pm

The Amazing NightManchester Sing Out Choir was invited to take part in Bottrop’s 10th annual Gospel Music Festival for the third time. There were many highlights that included a welcome party, devotionals, making music with other delegates and participants from the community. This was a refreshing and spiritual experience for the choir as they sang on the Saturday night of the six days event. Testimonial of the group are overwhelming. The choir look forward to returning to Bottop in 2012.

Amy Sings 'Take Me'

Amy Sings 'Take Me'

Amy SANG!!! a beautiful rendition of Tobie Wharton’s ‘Take Me’. At the end of this experience… we were broken. The choir received a standing applause from the audience which went on for quite some time. We finished off with Richard Smallwood’s ‘Highest Praise’ and the crowd continued to cheer as we left the stage.

Tobie, Thank you for the number one HIT!!! You’re an inspired and gifted song writer.

Amy, you did it again… THANK YOU!

Choir, you sang and represented what we truly aim to live…. You’re the BEST!!!

The Workshop Choir

The Workshop Choir

The Workshop Choir was an exciting experience. We had the delight of sharing the stage with choirs from Poland, Switzerland and of course Germany. MSOC went to one of the local schools in the area to promote the Gospel Teens Workshop Choir… They ROCK… and really enjoyed themselves. We also had the grand experience being instructed by the beautiful Shelly and Kenneth Powe and the Dynamic maestro Gerald T. Smith and his version of ‘Send Up Judah’.

The Gospel Night

The Gospel Night

MSOC knows how to have a GREAT time and enjoyed the fellowship with each other and others, which made the team spirit on stage electrifying. MSOC live band assisted all instructors and were very responsive in their roll to support. Recommendations to Les, James and Dave… ‘That’s What It’s All About!’

The People's Brother

The People's Brother

We call him ‘The People’s Brother’ or newly named ‘The Fellowship King’… Curtis loves TALKING to people. During our free periods or break times, Curtis would find himself in fellowship with someone. However this great young man came to Germany with the right concept of fellowship…

We love you bro…

OUR NIGHT WALK TO THE HILL

OUR NIGHT WALK TO THE HILL

After a long day’s rehearsal we agreed to go for a walk to the hill where lies the ‘Tetreader’, a monument where you can walk to the top and view the City of Bottrop and it’s surrounding Cities such as Essen and Dusseldorf. After the 15minute walk to the top, we talked and sang songs. Unforgettable moment.

Thank you

Here are a few words from this brave young lady:

I’ve decided to do something funny for money this Red Nose Day. I’m going to cut all my dreadlocks off. No, seriously. I’ve not been able to brush my hair in seven years and not had it cut it in twelve so I think it’s about time I cut it all off! But not until I’ve raised some seriously lovely money for Comic Relief.

Please support me as much as you can as your cash really can make a huge difference to the lives of vulnerable people across the UK and Africa. Thank you so much.

Sol Ruston

Please Give generously.

Kind regards,
