30 June, 2010
Thousands of people will be coming together on 30th June 2010 to celebrate the great things happening in communities across the UK at the ‘Redeeming Our Communities’ event in Manchester.
Manchester Sing Out Choir will be performing at this radical event which has been planned in the hopes that attendees will be inspired about exciting new project ideas being delivered, such as ROC cafe in Reddish, ROC Boxing Gym and Shine Your Light Campaign. Guests at the event will include Greater Manchester Police Chief Constable Peter Fahy, County Fire Officer Steve McGuirk, politicians, and local Authority leaders.
Proud to have been invited to be part of an event of this magnitude, Manchester Sing out Choir shares in the events ethos to improve the lives of individuals by making communities ‘kinder and safer places’.
‘Redeeming Our Communities’ will be held at the Velodrome Cycling Stadium, Stuart Street (opposite Manchester City FC Stadium), Manchester. It is open to all, so if you are interested in coming along or would like to find out more, please visit www.redeemingourcommunites.org.uk
